I spoke with the IT Department to get this information for you.  You will want to contact them directly if you have any other problems.  Their number on campus is 423-614-8027.  Here is what they told me:

In your student email through Office 365 you will need to go to the "Settings" menu.  Then click on "Office 365 Settings".  Next click on the "Software" header and then choose "Install/Manage Software" and finally click "Install".  Then the program will automatically load MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint onto your computer.
